Soft Washing - Low Pressure Gentle Washing

What is Soft Washing - Soft washing originated in the US as a safe means of washing roof tiles and exteriors of buildings. In the US they use primarily Shingles for roof tiles, here in the UK we use different media from clay, asphalt, fired clay, concrete and composite. Some of these tiles are very weak and brittle. One particular fired tile called a Pentile is very weak and will not take the weight or pressure of a jet washing gun.  Some tiles can have the surface "scabbled" during the pressure washing process (scabbling is the removal of the surface coating exposing the tile to the elements).

Soft washing is the gentle removal of organic growths from roofs, walls, decks, patios and drives. We use low-pressure water and specially formulated chemicals to gently remove and treat the surfaces.
